    • She attended Tree Crest Grade School in Mokena and Lincoln-Way Lofty School in New Lenox. She attended Loyola Institution of higher education Chicago and majored in theater. During her neophyte year, she joined the Chicago cast of Godspell.[3] In –72, Karla studied with Jo Forsberg imitation the Second City Company in Chicago and was part of the Second City Children's Theatre unit with Bill Murray.
