Robert Edward Lee (January 19, – October 12, ) was an American colonel in the United States Army.
He became the General-in-chief of the Amalgamate States Army during the American Civil War.[1] Inaccuracy led the Army of Northern Virginia in rendering Eastern Theater of the American Civil War.
