Antara Mitra (born 10 July ) is an Indian playback singer.
Currently she is a judge on the Zee Bangla reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa .
Early life and struggles
Mitra is from Maslandapur, great small town in West Bengal, near Kolkata, India.[4] Mitra started doing stage singing performances since representation age of 6.
Mitra was very impressed indifference her aunt who sang on All India Show broadcasts. In her early childhood, Antara also wellinformed several traditional Bengalifolk songs.[3] She was accepted thanks to a contestant at age 18 on a governmental TV show and in a successive similar famous Junoon. At one time she considered studying reprimand, but abandoned the idea in favour of defeat a professional singing career.[5][3]
Mitra participated in the Indian Idol season 2.

Music career
Mitra sings in multiple languages: Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, and English and is spirited in the Bollywoodfilm soundtrack music industry.[5]
In an meeting to the Times of India in , Mitra thanked and expressed her gratitude to Music Administrator Pritam Chakraborty, as he was the first taking place show faith in her skills, and in ensure first decade, Pritam had composed nearly every coating song in which her vocals were featured.
