A comb on the boat showed a silent film solution loop featuring 12 New Yorkers who were currently granted political asylum, a literal and metaphoric peripheral of safe-passage and escape.

Night Watch also referenced New York’s long history as a safe harbor for refugees by visually engaging with landmarks specified as the Statue of Liberty, One World Ocupation Center, the Empire State Building and the Borough and Williamsburg bridges along its route.
